Questions for my Protagonist
What makes your character appear to be the protagonist in the film?
The film is based on discovering the truth. I would position myself to be the character who uncovers the truth and gets to the bottom of all the lies and deceit.
How did you overcome the Antagonist?
In a typical high school in America, the character of the Antagonist would mainly feature a group of girls, who were mean but looked up as the popular kids. I overcame the Antagonist through standing up for others and changing social order by making the 'cool' kids look lame.
My character 'Skye Evans' takes on the role of the protagonist in my story. Skye is a laid back girl who doesn't take life too seriously. After continuously witnessing the girls spitefulness she decides to step in causing a stop the hassle they're causing. Skye was childhood friends with the leader of the group 'Rachel' and comes across obstacles as she begins to be threatened. Similar to any typical high school story there are boys involved and the lies and deceit causes complications. By the end of the story Skye restores peace with her scheming and truthfulness, as well as making other peoples lives at high school more enjoyable.
The antagonist in my story would be the popular girl 'Rachel' however, she's not really popular she just thinks she is because the majority of students are afraid of her. Rachel has cruel ways and plots to make others life miserable. With her three sidekicks Faye, Natasha and Karmel leaves questions as to whether the Queen Bs can be defeated by the pressures of high school once Skye makes a stand.
My example of what could be a storyline linked with Characterization:
(Not a final idea)
My story is primarily based on the average troubles of a teenage life. When the pressures of growing up seem hard enough events are made more complicated with the group of girls at school believing they're better than everyone else.
